#CRStrong - Derecho Fundraiser - PreOrder

On August 10th our city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa was hit by a Derecho, basically an in-land hurricane. With sustained winds of up to 140 mph for an hour this storm completely decimated our city which was not built to withstand wind of that magnitude. Almost a month later cleanup continues and people are still without homes and basic needs. The electrical and internet infrastructures basically had to be rebuilt from the ground up. This beautiful city will never look the same as 50% or more of the tree canopy was lost and the hardest hit areas are the areas with the most need. 

This color was created to help raise money to aide in recovery efforts. $10 from each skein will be donated to Iowa Giving Crew. They're a local non-profit offering relief to the most needed areas. You can check them out at IowaGivingCrew.org. 

Skeins will ship by the end of November. The only base being offered at this time is a fingering weight, 100% SW Merino that has a whopping 490 yards!
